Cozy Wooden Chalet for a Pinocchio Look House

Ardesia Design, a firm that is based in London, has made a wooden chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland. Seeing the interior of this villa, we will think that Pinocchio, a fictional character of children’s novel that created by Carlo Callodi, an Italian writer, inspires the designer while making the design of this chalet. Crude woods are mainly used as the interiors for the walls, floorings, and even ceilings, and those are compounded with modern design but still accentuate the comfortable.

This villa is a perfect place to have a vacation with family or friends. You can even build your own wooden chalet with this chalet as your possibility choice inspiration. It has a wide room with wooden wall modern fireplace on a side.

White sectional sofas and cushions with solid wooden table and old dark varnished wooden cabinets with wooden puppets fill this room harmoniously. The other modern touch decorates this room by the placement of square shade and iron table lamps on square side tables.

The kitchen also looks modern by using steel furniture with minimalist design that combine with crude wooden wall. But old steel folded chairs make the dining room looks ancient that combine with wide dining table with lily bouquet in the middle of the table with round shade hanging lamp decorate this dining room romantically.

Even the occupants could have a perfect romantic dinner with wine that is saved inside the glass wine racks behind a private room with old cushioned chairs and wooden table above red geometrical rug on the lower ground with Pinocchio statue beside the stairs.

The bedrooms also lie in this ground floor. Each bedroom has similar nuance with double size tender bed and plaid pattern of pillows or the blankets, with glass doors or glass windows separate to the outdoor area, grayish backsplash, and connection door to the bathroom. There are two kinds of bathroom that could inspire many future wooden chalet homes, the one still use the crude woods as the wall with bright nuance, and the other is using concrete wall and flooring with dark nuance.
