Luxurious Church Conversion Idea in Melbourne

In 2012, the project of church conversion done by Bagnato Architects resulted into a glamor residence. This building formerly known as 1892 Anglican Church is located in a suburb of Moonee Ponds, Melbourne, Australia. The concept which is brought by the designer may refer to modern idea which shows a clear edge by which this house will have a high functionality as it also provides comfort to the household. The tone of this house has the tendency to the neutral color as the black and white tone is dominating the whole area of this house.

The strong and neutral scheme is captured when you come to the kitchen and the dining room of this house. The exposed square columns which become the dividers between the dining room and kitchen are expressing a powerful looks since they are painted in the black mode. Among the columns, you will also find the glass wall that raises the eccentricity to this church conversion to residential. The soft lighting which is given to the columns has maximized the luxurious value to this house.

The furniture of this dining room also spells the same thing. The minimalist dining table with the bold square legs has been interconnected to the sturdy columns. However, the dining chairs are somewhat different. Chic and minimalist concept which is applied makes a nice conversion to the thick and bold dining table design. Adjacent the dining room, you will notice a modern kitchen set in the chromic accent. You will also find the kitchen island which color resembles the color of the dining table.

Besides the neutral tone of the dining table and kitchen, the bedrooms are designed in various styles. Some of them are exposing the glamor style while some are still minimalist. However, the project for converting church to residential is very interesting as the combination can create the dynamic color design to this contemporary house.
